How to speed up your combine

Stripper headers and trailed swathers

Stripper headers were invented in Australia in the 1830's, but they've been improved since then. The Shelbourne Reynolds stripper header, for which we are the sole UK agents will:

• increase harvesting speed
• reduce fuel consumption
• greatly reduce wear on your combine
• gain maximum harvest potential from
lodged, hailed or weed infested fields
• speed up the whole harvest
• be ideal for no-till environment

Stainless steel fingers cope with the toughest crop conditions while a variable speed - belt drive system provides rotor speed adjustment while on the move from a cab - mounted switch.
Second hand stripper headers occasionally become available.

Trailed Swathers:

Trailed swathers or windrowers allow stripped standing straw (and other crops) to be harvested when you want. Because the straw has not been through the combine it remains undamaged making baling easier, and when bedding down animals you will use much less straw.
In association with Shelbourne Reynolds we are sole UK agents for the MacDon range made in Canada, where they know a thing or two about combining.
The main features of these
machines are:

• Adjustable opening height

• Adjustable reel and conveyer speed

• Quick, tool-free conversion to
transport mode

• Cambered wheel system for side draft
elimination

• Unique flotation system

• Field and transport lights

Folding headers:

The Cressoni folding header halves the width of the header (in less than five minutes) and allows a clear view for the driver. It is a one man operation, freeing up the tractor driver, and simply entails removing the one drive shaft and
operating the folding hydraulics
from the cab.
Negotiating gateways is now no longer
a problem and considerable downtime and labour wastage is saved.
Will fit all popular combines, rugged design and proven by one of the leading Italian agricultural engineers.
If you have a lot of small fields to harvest, this adaption is a must
