In readiness for the 2007 season, we are pleased to release details of marked improvements to the best selling Korte and Murska range of crimpers.
Shown here is the Korte 1400S2x2HD, the latest model in the highly successful 1400 series and widely used by contractors.
New features include an even stronger chassis, adjustable pneumatic suspension, adjustment of elevator angle and roller pressure from tractor hydraulics, fully adjustable scrapers and more positive grain feed control. Roller guards are supported by gas struts to make access easier, flow direction from the discharge elevator is adjustable and a tool box has been added. Directional working lights have been added to make work in low-light conditions easier. The tempered, hardened rollers are now available with a ‘super heavy duty’ option, which will last up to three times longer than the standard rollers before resurfacing is required.
This big machine can now carry two drums of Crimpstore or Propcorn NC, with the 1000 litre IBC carrier shown in the photo as an optional extra.

We’re very pleased that they have taken our suggestions on board. The Korte has always been recognised as a fast and dependable machine, but with these changes we believe the full potential of the crimper has now been realised. We would expect users to gain from better output and even greater ease of maintenance and operation compared to previous models.”
The Murska range of smaller crimpers has also benefited from further design improvements to make these tried and tested crimpers, with over 40 years in use on farms across Europe, even more reliable and user-friendly. A new design of trailer chassis (available as an optional extra) makes moving the crimper easier.
